Job summary

Beaumont Tiles is seeking a commercially minded Design & Specification Representative to grow our presence with architects, designers, builders and developers across Queensland. You will drive product specifications early in projects and convert opportunities into sales.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you’ll build strong relationships, provide design advice, and identify growth opportunities across residential, multi-residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in specification sales or business development within the design/build sector.
• Strong networks within design, architecture or residential construction.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
• Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers and design firms.
• Increase product specification opportunities across residential and commercial projects.
• Develop relationships with Design Managers and Display Managers within major builders.
• Drive display village and display home opportunities.
• Identify and convert project opportunities with the sales team.
• Provide product, trend and design advice to customers and industry partners.
• Monitor market trends and growth opportunities.
• Maintain and track opportunities through CRM systems.

We\'re looking for a commercially minded and relationship-driven Design & Specification Representative to grow our presence within the architectural, design, builder and development communities across Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for design, business development and relationship management in a role that directly influences project specifications and supports business growth across residential, multi-residential and commercial projects.

About the role

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building Beaumont Tiles influence within the design and specification community while strengthening relationships with key builders and developers. You\'ll work closely with Business Development Managers and Account Managers to ensure Beaumont Tiles products are specified early in the project lifecycle and ultimately converted into sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building strong relationships with architects, interior designers and design firms
• Increasing product specification opportunities across residential and commercial projects
• Developing relationships with Design Managers and Display Managers within major builders
• Driving display village and display home opportunities
• Identifying and converting project opportunities alongside the sales team
• Providing product, trend and design advice to customers and industry partners
• Monitoring market trends and identifying growth opportunities
• Maintaining and tracking opportunities through CRM systems
