Job summary

Beaumont Tiles is seeking a commercial-minded Design & Specification Representative to grow our presence with architectural, design, builder and development communities across Queensland.

This role focuses on influencing project specifications, converting opportunities into sales, and partnering with BDMs and Account Managers to ensure Beaumont Tiles products are specified early in projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in specification sales, business development, architectural products, building materials, interiors or a related industry.
• Strong networks within the design, architecture or residential construction sectors.
• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
• Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach to building a territory.

Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships with architects, interior designers and design firms.
• Increasing product specification opportunities across residential and commercial projects.
• Developing relationships with Design Managers and Display Managers within major builders.
• Driving display village and display home opportunities.
• Identifying and converting project opportunities alongside the sales team.
• Providing product, trend and design advice to customers and industry partners.
• Monitoring market trends and identifying growth opportunities.
• Maintaining and tracking opportunities through CRM systems.
