Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Catholic commitment or willingness to support Catholic ethos.
• Qualifications to teach Religious Education or willingness to undertake study.
• Post-graduate studies in special/inclusive education or significant experience in a specialised setting.
• Understanding of curriculum frameworks and ability to design personalised learning adjustments.
• Experience in collaborative curriculum planning for diverse learners.
• Experience with positive behaviour support approaches to foster safe environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues, health/allied professionals, parents and carers.

Responsibilities

• Support Class teaching to create a safe, inclusive learning environment for students with mild-to-moderate intellectual disabilities, autism, and complex profiles.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to deliver tailored learning adjustments.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and student wellbeing and engagement.
