Lead the architecture behind next-generation insurance experiences

LTM Australia is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join a major insurance transformation program supporting the design and delivery of a next-generation Digital Experience platform.

This is an architecture-focused leadership role where you will own solution design, technical direction, architectural governance and engineering standards across a suite of enterprise digital experiences supporting policy servicing, claims, quoting, contact centre operations, case management and customer engagement journeys.

The current architect role does not need to be aligned to these technologies. However, candidates must demonstrate prior hands‑on development experience with modern front-end and API technologies and be capable of engaging credibly with engineering teams and driving technical decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead solution architecture for enterprise-scale digital platforms and customer experiences.
• Define target-state architecture, application design patterns and technical standards.
• Design scalable, modular and maintainable solutions across front-end, middleware and integration layers.
• Drive architecture governance, non-functional requirements, security and performance standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with integration, data, cloud and platform teams to design API-driven solutions.
• Establish reusable UI patterns, component strategies and modular architecture approaches.
• Guide development teams through detailed solution design and implementation.
• Drive technical quality, CI/CD, testing, observability and release readiness.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads while providing hands‑on architectural leadership.

Technical Foundation

• Node.js
• Angular and/or React
• HTML5 / CSS3

Solution Design

• Experience with reusable component frameworks and modular application design.
• Experience with micro-frontends and/or microservices architectures.
• Strong REST API and integration design experience.
• Understanding of security, accessibility, scalability and performance considerations.
• Experience translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Highly Desirable

• Experience within Insurance, Financial Services or highly regulated industries.
• Experience with workflow-driven or customer engagement platforms.
• Experience designing event-driven and API-first architectures.
• RabbitMQ, Kafka or messaging platform experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes exposure.
• CI/CD, DevSecOps and release management experience.
• Experience with role-based access control, auditability and compliance requirements.
• Agile, SAFe or POD-based delivery experience.
