Job summary

Lawrence & Hanson Australia, WA Solar division, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive renewables growth by building relationships, winning new business, and delivering practical solar solutions.

You’ll own sales performance across your territory, engage both new and existing customers, and represent our brand with integrity and enthusiasm while collaborating with branch and regional teams to meet budgeted targets.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with success in business development or account management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Customer-centric mindset and ability to build long-term relationships.
• Solid product and industry knowledge; technical experience is a plus.
• Self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven approach.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and representing our values professionally.

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify sales opportunities, conduct qualifying calls, and close new business.
• Visit customers to understand needs and match them with products and services.
• Meet budgeted sales and margin targets across your assigned customer base.
• Work collaboratively with branch managers, regional managers, and branch teams.
• Maintain excellent supplier relationships to support customer outcomes.
• Promote and contribute to a positive safety culture—identify hazards and report risks.
