UpGuard is hiring a Software Engineer to join the Product Engineering team. You’ll work across the stack—React/TypeScript frontend and Go services handling security data at scale—while ensuring security and reliability from day one.

You’ll collaborate in a squad with a PM, designer, and tech lead, with growth toward senior responsibilities and an emphasis on curious learning in cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript and React skills
• Backend experience with Go
• Relational database proficiency with PostgreSQL
• Experience with AI coding tools as part of typical workflow
• Ability to balance technical quality with business needs

Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing features across React frontend and Go services
• Own well-scoped work end to end with senior engineers for review
• Help keep the platform fast and reliable as it scales
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Deepen cybersecurity domain knowledge through practical work
• Grow toward senior roles with expanding scope and guidance from a manager
