Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversees Gaming Technicians, Bench Technicians, and Senior Gaming Technicians on assigned shift; assigns responsibilities and assists as needed.
• Repairs, overhauls, and maintains preventative maintenance of all slot machines.
• Performs staffing decisions such as hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, and disciplining technicians.
• Handles floor maintenance and repair; ensures proper setup and relocation of machines.
• Processes paperwork for auditing and data processing for slot machine setup and checkout.
• Keeps accurate counts of machines on the floor and maintains regulatory records.
• Trains new Gaming Technicians and ensures compliance with gaming laws and internal controls.
• Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous service.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job description

• Coordinates and supervises all Gaming Technicians, Bench Technicians, Senior Gaming Technicians on assigned shift by assigning responsibilities and duties and assisting them if needed.


• Repairs, overhauls, and maintains proper preventative maintenance of all slot machines to ensure optimal operation.


• Makes recommendations and suggestions to hire, transfer, suspend, promote, discharge, evaluate, assign, and discipline all Gaming Technicians, Bench Technicians, Senior Gaming Technicians on assigned shift in a fair and equitable manner.


• Handles floor maintenance and repair.


• Processes the necessary paperwork for auditing and data processing purposes for the initial set-up and checkout of new slot machines.


• Keeps an accurate count of machines on the floor, matching the units license, maintains records of all percentage sheets as required by the Gaming Commission.


• Supervises the breakdown, relocation, and setup of relocated machines and stands.


• Assists in the training of new Gaming Technicians.


• Maintains knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and regulations, as well as property internal controls, policies and procedures.


• Brings disputes and unusual guest activities to the attention of the shift manager/ Gaming Performance Manager.


• Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.


• Directly supervises all Gaming Technicians, Bench Technicians, and Senior Gaming Technicians on each assigned shift.


• Performs all other duties as assigned.
