Job summary

Red Hawk Casino is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Officers on assigned shifts, ensuring guest safety and smooth operation of the casino floor.

You will maintain staffing levels, conduct training, supervise performance, and manage incident reporting. The role requires 21+ and experience in security or guest services within gaming environments, with a focus on professional guest interactions and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers during assigned shift.
• Maintain staffing levels through interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining employees.
• Patrol the property and report hazards to ensure safety of guests and staff.
• Back-up Security Officers as needed and perform their duties when required.
• Prepare and request incident reports involving guests or staff.
• Guard transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor and transport chip fills and credits.
• Engage with guests and employees professionally to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Attend departmental meetings to facilitate information flow; ensure accurate records and reports.
• Develop and implement an employee engagement strategy with regular feedback.

Job description

• Assists in the supervision of Security Officers on assigned shift.
• Maintains adequate staffing levels, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining employees, as needed.
• Patrols the property on assigned shift, identifying potential security and/or safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate individual, to ensure the safety and protection of guests, employees and the entire facility.
• Acts as a back-up to Security Officers on assigned shift, and assumes their duties when necessary.
• Prepares and requests reports on incidents involving guests, employees and/or the facility, as needed.
• Guards transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor, as well as the physical transportation of chip fills and credits.
• Acts as a backup to Security Officers on assigned shift, and assumes their duties.
• Interacts with guests and employees in a positive, professional manner.
• Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction throughout the property is achieved and maintained.
• Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
• Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
• Create and utilize a comprehensive and sustainable employee engagement strategy through both formal and informal feedback as well as constant communication
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associates of Arts degree in any field is preferred.
• Must have a minimum of one year of supervisor and guest services experience.
• Two years of experience in law enforcement or gaming security strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
