Job summary

Our client in the Sunshine Coast region seeks an experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to oversee 15–20 new home projects in the Gympie region. You’ll ensure build quality, manage trades, and maintain strong client relations across sites.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in residential site supervision, a QBCC Site Supervisor Licence, and strong communication skills. This full-time role offersGreat team support and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in residential construction site supervision/management.
• Must have current QLD driver’s licence & white card.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles with an eye for detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple conflicting tasks and projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Know how to read relevant construction documentation such as working drawings.
• Understanding of national construction codes and other relevant legislation.
• QBCC Site Supervisor Licence essential.
• Experience with a scheduling program.

Responsibilities

• Managing the overall site performance and finished quality of multiple construction projects at once.
• Scheduling and managing a wide variety of trades and subcontractors to maximise site production.
• Maintain existing trades and subcontractor relationships and develop new potential relationships.
• Monitor build timeframes closely to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Liaising, on site walk-throughs and meetings with clients.
• Follow WHS management & Quality Control systems to maintain a high standard of safe working practices and conditions at all times.
• Get around to all sites as required and conducting thorough walk through inspections ensuring build quality is maintained.
• Solve construction issues with trades and suppliers in an efficient timeframe.
