Job summary

Bryant Building Contractors is expanding its Northern Rivers presence and seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day construction activities, supervise trades and coordinate with clients and suppliers. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure works meet program, quality and safety standards, review SWMS and permits, and mentor site personnel while maintaining strong site records.

This role requires five years’ experience in commercial construction, proficiency with Procore or

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in the building and construction industry
• Experience supervising and coordinating commercial construction projects valued between $4 million and $20 million
• Experience with Design & Construct (D&C) projects is advantageous
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) or equivalent
• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day construction activities across project sites
• Supervise and provide direction to subcontractors, trades and site personnel
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors, materials and deliveries to maintain construction programs
• Monitor site progress and address issues that may impact program, quality or outcomes
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders
• Maintain a strong focus on HSEQ and compliance
• Review SWMS, permits and site documentation; ensure controls are implemented
• Provide leadership and mentoring to site personnel
