Job summary

Enemix is seeking an experienced Site Engineer – Civil/Substations for a major Adelaide project. The role focuses on hands-on site supervision of civil works, coordination with project teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on renewables-related works.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years in site engineering, and experience with Tier 1 contractors, renewables, and energy projects.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years' site engineer experience on civil infrastructure.
• Experience in renewables/energy projects is preferred (solar, wind, BESS, substations).
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, concrete, foundations, roads, and services.
• Familiar with quality systems, ITPs and WHS requirements.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication with subcontractors and site teams.
• Current driver’s license and White Card.
• Resident in Adelaide or able to commute daily.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing site operations to ensure progress.
• Collaborating with the project team on technical queries and design changes.
• Ensuring safety and quality standards compliance.
• Monitoring progress and reporting updates to the team.
• Managing resources, materials, and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
• Communicating with stakeholders to resolve issues.
