Job summary

CPP is seeking an Engineer - Civil to join its in-house national design and engineering team in Adelaide. You’ll contribute to civil design for high-voltage substations, renewable energy projects, and battery storage, from client requirements through to issued designs.

You'll work with Senior and Principal Engineers on stormwater, earthworks, pavements and access roads, ensuring designs are constructible, compliant, and safe while aligning with project goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, PE registration valued.
• 3+ years in civil design, energy/utilities/infra sectors preferred.
• Experience with bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage, pavements and access roads.
• Experience producing drawings, reports and construction specifications.
• Experience with AutoCAD and 12d 3D modelling.
• Exposure to DRAINS or HEC-RAS for stormwater modelling.
• High-voltage substations or renewables exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Undertake civil design tasks from client requirements to issued designs.
• Develop concept and issued-for-construction designs for HV substations and renewables.
• Contribute to stormwater, earthworks, pavements and access roads within a multi-disciplinary team.
