Job summary

Symal Infrastructure in Adelaide, SA, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project about two hours north of Adelaide. You will own the engineering, commercial and delivery aspects, reporting to the Project Manager and mentoring site engineers.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of civil construction experience across renewables or major projects, strong program and procurement know-how, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' relevant construction experience.
• Experience across civil construction, infrastructure, renewables, utilities or major projects.
• Strong understanding of construction programs, procurement, subcontractor management and commercial processes.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and environmental performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project engineering activities from planning through to delivery.
• Lead and mentor Project Engineers and Site Engineers.
• Manage procurement and subcontractor delivery to support the program.
• Monitor project costs, productivity and cost-to-complete.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
