Ivory Group in Canberra is seeking a Site Engineer to join a team delivering high-profile commercial projects. You’ll be embedded in an experienced project team, taking ownership across the full project lifecycle from coordinating trades to driving safety and quality outcomes.

This hands-on role is designed to fast-track your development into a well-rounded Project Engineer, with a clear path to progression, mentorship, and exposure to projects ranging from mid-market to iconic Canberra builds.

Qualifications

• Tertiary or Trade Qualification in a building related discipline is preferable.
• Proven record of monitoring, managing and complying with WHS and Quality Assurance processes.
• Showcase a strong track record of stability with previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Implement on-site construction plans, schedules and budgets.
• Oversee daily site operations, quality control and safety compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and vendors to keep the project moving.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve issues and keep objectives on track.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reporting.
• Monitor project progress and flag risks early.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As Site Engineer you'll be embedded within an experienced project team, taking ownership across every stage of a major commercial build. From coordinating trades and services to driving safety and quality outcomes, you'll get broad exposure across the full project lifecycle. This is a hands-on role designed to stretch your technical ability and fast-track your development into a well rounded Project Engineer.

DUTIES

• Implement and manage construction plans, schedules and budgets on-site
• Oversee day-to-day site operations including quality control and safety compliance
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and vendors to keep the project moving
• Collaborate closely with your Project Manager to resolve issues and keep objectives on track
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
• Monitor and report on project progress, flagging risks early
