You will work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to maintain control of daily activities, resolve issues, and ensure work is carried out to the required standard.

  • Review drawings, identify discrepancies, and assist in resolving design and constructability issues with consultants and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and document quality, including inspections, ITP compliance, and verification of completed works.
  • Assist with subcontractor management: pre‑start coordination, tracking progress, confirming outputs, and supporting commercial administration.
  • Maintain accurate records including site diaries, quality documentation, safety observations, and progress reporting.
  • Support planning and sequencing activities, ensuring upcoming works are prepared, understood, and risk‑assessed.
  • Undertake procurement support tasks such as preparing scopes, reviewing shop drawings, and assisting with cost tracking.
  • Contribute to risk reviews, method statements, and safe work planning in alignment with the project’s WHS requirements.
Non‑Negotiables
  • Safety is the first priority in all planning and decision‑making.
  • Compliance with company systems, procedures, and WHS legislation at all times.
  • Accurate, timely documentation with no gaps in reporting or record‑keeping.
  • Clear communication with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Issues are raised early, addressed proactively, and closed out effectively.
Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, quality requirements, and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, identify risks, and support the site team in delivering a controlled and predictable outcome.
  • Competent with construction software, documentation systems, and site‑based reporting.
  • Collaborative mindset, dependable follow‑through, and a structured approach to work.
