Job summary

Downer is seeking a Site Coordinator to support site operations, connecting operational teams with the Support Services Hub. You will be the key coordination point on site, ensuring workforce information and service requests are accurate, complete and submitted on time.

The role involves preparing SAP work orders for planner release, closing jobs, monitoring delays, and coordinating dispatch activities across regional and metro areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, utilities, engineering, project delivery or a similar operational environment.
• Experience in site coordination or operational administration.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating workforce information, mobilisation or site documentation.
• A relevant qualification in Business Administration, Operations Coordination or a related discipline is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and recode SAP work orders for planner release.
• Close jobs and update statuses based on contractor advice.
• Monitor outstanding work and investigate delays.
• Coordinate regional and metro dispatch activities.
• Extract SAP documentation and prepare dispatch packs.
• Issue jobs and communicate urgent changes to field crews.
• Support planners with scheduling and job readiness.
• Maintain accurate dispatch, reporting and system records.
• Respond to contractor enquiries and coordinate updates between planners, contractors and customers.
