Job summary

Downer is seeking a Site Coordinator to support on-site operations in Melbourne. You will coordinate workforce information, documentation and service requests, ensuring accuracy and timely submission, while linking operational teams with the Support Services Hub.

The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication to manage contractor and customer updates across planning, dispatch and field crews.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, utilities, engineering or similar operational environments.
• Experience coordinating workforce information, mobilisation or site documentation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and recode SAP work orders for planner release
• Close jobs and update statuses based on contractor advice
• Monitor outstanding work and investigate delays
• Coordinate regional and metro dispatch activities
• Extract SAP documentation and prepare dispatch packs
• Issue jobs and communicate urgent changes to field crews
• Support planners with scheduling and job readiness
• Maintain accurate dispatch, reporting and system records
• Respond to contractor enquiries and coordinate updates between planners, contractors and customers
