Job summary

Unisson Disability in Parklea is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to manage Supported Independent Living (SIL) services. You will lead a team of direct support professionals, ensuring high quality, person-centred care that empowers clients to thrive and remain independent.

You will oversee day-to-day SIL operations, ensure homes are safe and compliant, develop and review support plans, and coordinate rostering and recruitment with HR.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years leadership experience in the disability sector.
• Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles.
• Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable).
• Willingness to participate in flexible working hours including on call, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of SIL sites.
• Ensure homes are safe, welcoming, and compliant.
• Lead the development and review of person-centred support plans.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and aligned with policy and system requirements.
• Support clients during NDIS planning and review meetings.
• Participate in behaviour support planning and restrictive practices where required.
• Coach and mentor staff to enhance performance and engagement.
• Coordinate rosters, leave and recruitment with HR and Scheduling teams.
