Responsibilities

• Facilities cleaning including sweeping, mopping, windows, bathrooms and staff lunchroom
• Re‑stocking shelves
• Maintaining storeroom
• Grounds maintenance (raking, weeding, mulching, stick and leaf removal)
• During quiet times, basic outdoor grounds maintenance in all weather conditions.

About the role

This is a full-time permanent role at Phillip Island Wildlife Park in Cowes, Victoria, working Friday‑Tuesday (days off Wednesday/Thursday). The role offers a stable, long-term employment opportunity with plenty of variety and scope to grow and take on other roles with further experience.

• Facilities cleaning including sweeping, mopping, windows, bathrooms and staff lunchroom

Due to the seasonal nature of the business, during quiet times this role also involves basic outdoor grounds maintenance in all weather conditions.

About you

• Reliable
• Able to work weekends and busy peak periods ongoing
• Clean and tidy personal presentation
• Capable of physical work on a daily basis, able to stand/walk for long periods, able to lift up to 20kg repeatedly and carry out duties in adverse weather conditions
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport required
• Full working rights in Australia (sponsorship is not available)
