Job summary

Sharp and Carter in Melbourne is seeking an experienced finance leader to own the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and drive operational excellence within a growing organisation. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on management to support finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in shared services, finance operations or transactional finance environments.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and financial controls.
• Proven track record delivering process improvement, change management or transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
• Drive process standardisation and operational efficiencies across shared services.
• Support finance transformation projects, systems improvements and workflow enhancements.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Manage audit requirements, controls, and reconciliations.
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
• Support month-end processes and broader finance projects.
• Build capability within the team through coaching and leadership.
