Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in shared services, finance operations or transactional finance environments.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and financial controls.
  • Proven track record delivering process improvement, change management or transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
  • Drive process standardisation and operational efficiencies across shared services.
  • Support finance transformation projects, systems improvements and workflow enhancements.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Manage audit requirements, controls, and reconciliations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
  • Support month-end processes and broader finance projects.
  • Build capability within the team through coaching and leadership.

The Opportunity Reporting to a senior finance leader, this newly available opportunity will see you take ownership of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while driving process improvement, financial governance and transformation initiatives across the broader finance operation. The role offers a balanced mix of strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement and hands-on operational management.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
  • Driving process improvement, standardisation and operational efficiencies across shared services
  • Supporting finance transformation projects, systems improvements and workflow enhancements
  • Developing KPIs, reporting dashboards and performance metrics
  • Managing audit requirements, controls, compliance activities and reconciliations
  • Partnering with key stakeholders across finance and the broader business to resolve issues and improve service delivery
  • Supporting month-end processes and broader finance projects
  • Building capability within the team through coaching, mentoring and leadership
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within shared services, finance operations or transactional finance environments
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and financial controls
  • Proven track record delivering process improvement, change management or transformation initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience operating within a complex, fast-paced environment
