Job summary

Sharp & Carter Accounting Clerical, based in Melbourne’s inner city, is seeking a senior finance leader to own the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within a growing Australian business. You will drive process improvement, financial governance and transformation initiatives across the finance operation, balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery.

Strong understanding of AP/AR and financial controls.
Proven track record delivering process improvement and transformation initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
Drive process standardisation and operational efficiencies across shared services.
Support finance transformation projects and workflow enhancements.
Develop KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics.
Manage audit requirements, controls, compliance and reconciliations.
Partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
Support month-end processes and broader finance projects.
Coach and mentor team members to build capability.
