Job summary

Agrifutures in Australia is seeking a senior finance leader to own Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, drive process improvement, governance and transformation across the finance function. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on management in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead shared services, develop KPIs and dashboards, and partner with stakeholders to enhance service delivery while supporting month-end processes and controls.

The Opportunity Reporting to a senior finance leader, this newly available opportunity will see you take ownership of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while driving process improvement, financial governance and transformation initiatives across the broader finance operation. The role offers a balanced mix of strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement and hands-on operational management.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
• Driving process improvement, standardisation and operational efficiencies across shared services
• Supporting finance transformation projects, systems improvements and workflow enhancements
• Developing KPIs, reporting dashboards and performance metrics
• Managing audit requirements, controls, compliance activities and reconciliations
• Partnering with key stakeholders across finance and the broader business to resolve issues and improve service delivery
• Supporting month-end processes and broader finance projects
• Building capability within the team through coaching, mentoring and leadership

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated leadership experience within shared services, finance operations or transactional finance environments
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and financial controls
• Proven track record delivering process improvement, change management or transformation initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Hands-on leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience operating within a complex, fast-paced environment
