Qualifications

• Electrician, fitter or automotive industry experience.
• Experience in gas heated appliances.
• Strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting and ability to read circuit diagrams.
• Proficiency in resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and resolve on-site technical issues with customers or dealers.
• Service, maintenance, diagnosis, parts installation, machine installation, testing and commissioning of laundry equipment at customer or dealer sites.
• Document service activities and maintain records of repairs and maintenance.
• Provide accurate information to back-end systems and complete commercial service tasks in a timely manner.
• Provide technical support and solutions for equipment, online or offline.
• Periodically train customers and dealers on operations and technical topics.

As a Service Technician for our Electrolux Professional Laundry team in Australia, you will be responsible for conducting technical support activities to ensure Electrolux Professional's customers after sales services excellence. You will also provide technical products training to internal professionals, and external to customers and third parties to ensure excellence in product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Fully responsible for coordinating and resolving technical issues that arise on site with customers or dealers
• Carry out service, maintenance, diagnosis, parts installation, machine installation, testing and commissioning of the laundry equipment at customers sites or dealer sites
• Document service activities accurately and maintain records of repairs and maintenance
• Provide accurate information to the back end of office and complete the commercial service to the customer in a timely manner
• Provide technical support and solutions for equipment effectively, online or offline
• Periodically provide operations and technical training to customers and dealers
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to our products and services
• Establish and maintain a good relationship with clients, act as a trusted advisor
• Travel to regional areas outside of Sydney to provide support to service and support when required
• Manage stock and spare parts for your work vehicle

About you

• Electrician, Fitter or Automotive Industry experience
• Experience in gas heated appliances
• Strong understanding in electrical troubleshooting, able to read and understand circuit diagrams
• Proficient in resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to convince external parties to accept new practices, approaches, and solutions
• Experience in a similar industry of 1 – 2 years
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English
