Job summary

Screenmasters Australia – Wetherill Park NSW is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. This hands-on role operates in the workshop and at customer sites, servicing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting a wide range of mobile and fixed crushing, screening and conveying equipment.

The successful candidate will travel across NSW (and occasionally interstate) to attend breakdowns and perform servicing, with responsibilities including completing service reports and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Experience servicing heavy mobile and fixed crushing, screening and conveying equipment.
• Strong fault diagnosis and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics; PLC experience is advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Experience completing service reports and parts tracking.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel and respond to customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare new, used and hire equipment for customer delivery
• Attend customer sites for breakdowns, servicing and maintenance

• Work independently when required or as part of the service team
• Travel to customer sites throughout NSW with limited notice and, from time to time, interstate

As authorised dealers for some of the world's largest equipment manufacturers, we provide sales, hire, service and support solutions to the Quarrying, Mining, Recycling and Dry Bulk Handling industries nationwide.

We are looking for 3 x Service Technicianto join our team based at our Wetherill Park, NSW.

This is a hands-on role working in our workshop and across customer sites. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting a wide range of mobile and fixed crushing, screening and conveying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair crushing, screening and conveying equipment
• Find and fix mechanical, hydraulic, electrical faults
• Help prepare new, used and hire equipment for customer delivery

Requirements

• Experience working within a heavy equipment in industries such as Quarrying, Mining, Crushing & Screening, Construction or related industries (desirable)
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities, on and offsite
• Understanding of electrical & hydraulic schematics. PLC systems experience an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience completing service documentation, job reports and parts tracking
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• A willingness to travel and respond to customer requirements when required
