Job summary

Komatsu Australia is hiring a Mobile Plant Mechanic - Field Service based in Mt Thorley. You’ll travel across the Hunter Valley to customer sites, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Komatsu heavy mobile equipment while delivering technical support.

The role offers autonomy to manage field service activities, complete documentation and work safely on-site. You'll operate across excavators, dozers and other mobile plant, supported by an experienced team and industry-leading technology.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy mobile equipment.
• Ability to travel to customer sites across the Hunter Valley.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage field service activities.

Join Komatsu Australia as a Mobile Plant Mechanic - Field Service and build your career with a global OEM supporting some of the world's leading mining and construction equipment.

Based at Mt Thorley, you'll travel across the Hunter Valley to customer sites, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and technical support on Komatsu heavy mobile equipment.

The role provides a high level of autonomy, allowing you to manage your work across customer sites while continuing to develop your technical skills and equipment expertise.

You'll work across a range of Komatsu machinery, including excavators, dozers and other mobile plant, supported by an experienced team and Komatsu's industry-leading technology and technical resources.
