Prochem Group of Companies in Mackay is seeking an experienced Service and Parts Advisor to link customers, technicians and suppliers, ensuring bookings run smoothly and parts are sourced accurately. This role is office-based within a busy workshop, demanding attention to detail, effective communication and a professional approach.

You will help keep workshop operations and customer service levels high while supporting the service team.

Qualifications

• Experience in service advisor, parts interpreter or workshop coordination.
• Knowledge of heavy vehicle or mechanical parts preferred.
• Strong communication with customers, technicians and suppliers.
• High attention to detail in quoting, job costing and invoicing.
• Ability to prioritise competing jobs in a fast-paced workshop.
• Solid computer and ERP/job management skills.
• Professional, reliable work ethic with composure under pressure.
• Team-focused attitude to support the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service bookings and confirm parts availability.
• Source and supply Scania and non-Scania parts.
• Prepare quotes, job cards and invoices.
• Liaise with customers via phone, email and front counter.
• Support the workshop team to keep jobs moving and minimise delays.
• Ensure documentation and invoicing meet company and compliance standards.
