Job Q in Marrickville, NSW is seeking a Service Manager to lead the technical support and service function. You’ll mentor a junior technician, diagnose pump and equipment issues over the phone, and get hands-on in the workshop with testing and repairs, primarily serving Australian farmers and rural dealers.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as a service manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring a junior team member.
• Full Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a junior technician while handling escalations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose pump and technical faults via phone, email, and messaging
• Manage warranty claims and service jobs from end to end
• Advise customers on suitable pump sizing, system upgrades, and installation setups
• Head out on occasional regional visits to run training sessions for distributors
