Job summary

HVAC Service Coordinator Thornleigh, NSW | $70,000–$95,000 + Super | Office Based

An established and growing HVAC business is looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to join its Thornleigh team. This is a key position supporting technicians, customers and the day-to-day running of the service department. This is a newly created role to support the service team as they ramp up for summer. This is a fun down-to-earth office environment where people have worked for a number of years and enjoy where they work!

The Role

• Coordinate and schedule HVAC service technicians across daily jobs
• Manage incoming service calls, bookings and customer enquiries
• Allocate jobs based on technician availability, location and experience
• Liaise with customers regarding bookings, updates and job progress
• Monitor schedules and respond to changes, cancellations or urgent work
• Support technicians with job information, documentation and follow-up
• Update job records, reports and service administration
• Work closely with the wider team as the service division continues to grow

What We Need

• Previous experience in HVAC, mechanical services or a trade-based service environment would be desirable, but we are open to other industries which are similar.
• Experience in service coordination, scheduling, dispatch/ trades or admin would be helpful.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communication skills when dealing with customers and technicians
• Good computer and administration skills
• A practical understanding of how field service teams operate
• Someone reliable, proactive and comfortable working in a busy environment
• HVAC industry experience is highly regarded, although other relevant trade backgrounds will be considered

This is an office-based role in Thornleigh, with street parking available. Hours can offer some flexibility around hours but will be around 8-4pm.

Salary: $70,000–$95,000 + super, depending on experience.
