Job summary

Allianz Australia is seeking a Senior Case Manager – Workers' Compensation in Charlestown to manage a portfolio of claims from inception to finalisation, focusing on return to work and return to health outcomes while modelling leadership and collaboration across teams. This role also involves guiding case strategy and stakeholder engagement.

You will apply medico-legal knowledge to bodily injury claims, coach others, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Structured training with portfolio of evidence demonstrating proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
• Medico-legal qualifications and experience in bodily injury claims across insurance, legal, medical or complex customer service sectors.
• Ability to lead, coach, and cover roles such as Case Reviewer and Team Manager when needed.
• Strong planning, prioritization and leadership to guide the team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; interpret complex information and balance empathy with outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Workers' Compensation claims from inception to finalisation.
• Focus on strategic collaboration to optimise return to work and health outcomes.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders including claimants, families, legal and medical professionals.
• Coach and lead projects to enhance claims results and outcomes.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and identify policy improvements within Allianz.
