Job summary
Bunnings Warehouse is seeking an Assistant Site Manager in Australia. You will oversee daily operations, sales, and high-volume stock management with a 180+ team, reporting to the Site Manager. You’ll coordinate with Department Managers, Supervisors, and Stores to drive safety, service and performance.
Weekend duties are included as part of a rotating roster. You will develop strategic plans for the warehouse, monitor customer service metrics, and lead stock and safety initiatives while managing
Qualifications
- Experience leading large teams in a retail/high-volume store
- Strong focus on safety, wellbeing and compliance
- Ability to coach department managers and frontline teams
- Proven track record delivering sales and margin targets
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 50+ direct reports and manage duty manager tasks
- Drive stock accuracy, stocktake, and inventory controls
- Monitor sales, margins and wage targets, implementing improvements
- Collaborate with Sales, Distribution, and Support Office to align strategy
- Ensure a safe, engaged, and high-performing work environment
- Foster a continuous improvement culture through coaching and feedback
