Job summary

Bunnings is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee daily operations, sales, and high-volume stock management for a large store in Australia. You will lead a team of 50+ and report to the Site Manager, coordinating with Department Managers and Supervisors to deliver excellent customer service and safe operations.

You will drive stock accuracy, safety compliance, and performance across departments while engaging with wider group functions to support long-term growth in the local warehouse

Qualifications

Experience leading a team of 50+ team members and leaders.
Retail leadership in a high-volume store.
Strong focus on Safety and Wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 50+ direct reports to maintain an engaged and safe work environment.
Monitor safety walks and audits and coach safe behaviours.
Drive stock accuracy and lead stocktake investigations.
Support Department Managers across Service, Inside the Home, Builders, Timber Yard and Lifestyles & Garden sections.
Engage with Commercial Sales teams and Distribution Centres to support wider area goals.
