Job summary

As an Assistant Site Manager for Bunnings, you will oversee daily store operations, lead a team of 50+ associates, and drive sales through effective stock and service. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will coordinate safety, wage targets, and partnerships with departments and distribution centres to support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 50+ team members and leaders to deliver a safe, engaged and high-performing operation.
• Strong safety focus demonstrated through safety walks, audits and coaching.
• Retail experience in high-volume, customer-focused environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50+ direct reports, manage opening/closing and duty manager responsibilities.
• Monitor stock levels and stocktake activities, drive stock accuracy and investigations.
• Manage customer service levels, liaise with Commercial Sales and Distribution Centres.
• Drive sales through merchandising and department coaching, achieve targets for margins and wages.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing compliance across the warehouse and staff.
