Job summary

Bunnings Group is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee daily operations, sales and stock management in a large store. You’ll lead a team of 50+ and coordinate with Department Managers, Supervisors and Drivers to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

You’ll focus on safety, wellbeing and high performance, while driving stock accuracy, merchandising and departmental targets across the store, including weekends and some public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 50+ team members and supervisors.
• Retail experience in high-volume stores.
• Ability to coach Department Managers and drive safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50+ direct reports, oversee opening/closing and weekend rosters.
• Conduct safety walks, coach safe behaviours, and monitor risk.
• Drive sales, margins and wage targets through merchandising and planning.
• Monitor stock levels, stocktakes and stock accuracy.
• Collaborate with Commercial Sales, Distribution and Support Office.
• Ensure customer service and team engagement meet high standards.
