Job summary

SAS Australia is seeking a Senior Technical Support Account Manager to deliver post-sales support for enterprise SAS applications in a hybrid model, based in Sydney or Melbourne. This role acts as a strategic advisor, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.

You will manage escalations, maintain strong customer relationships, and continuously expand knowledge of SAS products and supported domains. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in technical sales, systems engineering, project management, applications development or customer support.
• Hands-on SAS experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and clear communication.
• Strong problem-resolution capabilities and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to present to diverse audiences including internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical guidance to customers on SAS support activities.
• Communicate proactively with customers and SAS experts; document status updates in the tracking system.
• Coordinate and manage escalations and expectations across technical and business stakeholders.
• Apply SAS expertise across multiple product areas to help customers resolve business problems.
• Work remotely or on client sites as required to deliver services.
• Collaborate with partners and SAS resources to deliver high-quality support.
