Job summary

DRA Global is seeking talented Structural Designers at Mid-Level, Senior, and Lead level to join our engineering and project delivery team in Western Australia. You will develop detailed engineering designs, produce high-quality documentation, and collaborate with engineers, managers and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in an engineering detailed design environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles and industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience managing competing priorities and meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Develop accurate 2D and 3D models using industry-standard CAD software.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project objectives, requirements, and constraints.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to resolve design-related issues.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure design accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Maintain comprehensive records of design revisions, modifications, approvals, and project documentation.
• Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.
• Support project delivery through proactive communication and problem-solving.
