Job summary

DRA Global Limited is seeking a Structural Engineer to analyze, design and optimize structural systems across mining and processing projects. You will contribute to detailed design activities and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a degree in structural or civil engineering with ~3+ years in detailed design for mineral projects; proficiency in Strand7 and SpaceGass is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Approximately 3+ years of experience within a detailed design engineering environment working on mineral processing and mining projects.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles including statics, dynamics, structural stability and mechanics of materials.
• Experience analysing and designing structural systems for safety, durability and efficiency.
• Membership with Engineers Australia or a similar professional body is desirable.
• RPEQ (or working towards obtaining registration) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

The Role - Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design and optimisation of structural systems across a range of projects. Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you will contribute to detailed design activities, provide practical engineering solutions and help ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.
