Job summary

DRA Global is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex mining engineering projects from inception to completion. You will assist with planning, design development and project coordination while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

You will coordinate activities, manage design documentation and contribute to cost estimates and technical reports, with a strong focus on safety, quality and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience supporting or delivering engineering projects in mining.
• Experience with project planning, design development and implementation.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience managing project documentation and technical reporting.
• Commitment to safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support to project teams throughout planning, design and delivery.
• Assist with development of engineering solutions, design documents and deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities, monitor milestones and communicate updates.
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather information and resolve issues.
• Manage project documentation and correspondence.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates and other deliverables.
• Participate in technical reviews, inspections and QA activities.
• Develop cost estimates following AACE and CRIRSCO guidelines.
• Maintain safety, health, quality and environmental compliance.
