Job summary

DRA Global is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex mining and mineral processing projects from inception to completion. You will assist with technical aspects, coordinate activities and help ensure deliverables meet client requirements and industry standards.

The role emphasizes planning, documentation management and cost estimation, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience supporting or delivering engineering projects in the mining and mineral processing industry.
• Experience contributing to project planning, design development and implementation activities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support to project teams throughout project planning, design and delivery.
• Assist with development of engineering solutions, design documentation and deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate project activities, monitor milestones and deliverables, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve technical issues.
• Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support preparation of technical reports, presentations, cost estimates and other deliverables.
• Participate in technical reviews, inspections and quality assurance activities to verify compliance with requirements.
• Develop cost estimates in accordance with industry standards (AACE and CRIRSCO).
• Maintain commitment to safety, health, quality and environmental requirements.
