Job summary

DRA Global Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead complex engineering projects in the mining sector. You will provide technical leadership, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You will apply project management methodologies and mentoring to junior staff, while promoting safety and quality across all activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in engineering project delivery with a focus on technical leadership.
• Experience on mineral processing projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor and coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance across all phases of project delivery, including design, analysis, implementation, and construction support.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions to address project challenges and achieve client objectives.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects in line with scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations.
• Oversee engineering activities, monitor project performance and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure compliance with best practices and project standards.
• Promote safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement across all project activities.
