Job summary

Programmed Industrial Maintenance seeks an experienced Shutdown Supervisor in WA to lead shutdown activities from planning through on-site execution. You will supervise crews, coordinate scopes, and ensure safety and compliance across mining and industrial sites.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication, with travel to client sites as needed and a focus on delivering high standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Shutdown supervision experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary maintenance crews.
• Strong safety leadership and a thorough understanding of mining and industrial safety requirements.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shutdown crews across mining and industrial maintenance sites.
• Review shutdown scopes, work packs, schedules and labour requirements prior to execution.
• Plan and allocate daily work activities to meet milestones.
• Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and daily workforce briefings.
• Ensure safety and productivity requirements are understood and met.
• Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to tradespeople.
• Coordinate resources to minimise delays and maintain progress.
