Job summary

Richglen Maintenance Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Shutdowns team in Mackay, Central Queensland. This senior role oversees the delivery of major shutdowns and projects from planning through to close-out, with accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and commercial outcomes.

You will lead Superintendents, Supervisors and multidisciplinary project teams, manage budgets and client relationships, and ensure our work meets statutory and company standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in coal mining, heavy industrial maintenance, shutdowns or project environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from planning through completion.
• Strong commercial and financial management skills.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, resources and priorities.
• Excellent client relationship and contract management experience.
• Leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Strong safety, quality and compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, control and close-out of major shutdowns and projects.
• Provide leadership to Superintendents, Supervisors and project teams.
• Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, resources and performance.
• Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts and commercial outcomes.
• Review estimates, variations and commercial opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Close-out meetings and capture lessons learned.
• Mentor emerging leaders within the teams.
