Job summary

Programmed Industrial Maintenance is seeking an experienced Shutdown Coordinator to lead planning and delivery of shutdowns across our WA client portfolio. This is a hands-on role spanning mobilisation to site execution and close-out, ensuring proper planning and resourcing for successful outcomes.

You will coordinate Supervisors, trades and support staff, ensuring compliance, mobilising resources, and maintaining clear client communication to deliver safe, efficient shutdowns across multiple

Qualifications

• Shutdown or maintenance experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Trade background and site leadership experience.
• Strong workforce planning and coordination.
• Experience managing trades and Supervisors.
• Strong safety leadership.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident with clients and site reps.
• Solutions-focused approach.
• Strong computer and admin skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan upcoming shutdowns and workforce requirements.
• Review client scopes, schedules and labour requirements.
• Coordinate Supervisors, trades and supporting personnel.
• Work with recruitment and mobilisation teams to fill shutdown requirements.
• Ensure personnel are compliant and ready for mobilisation.
• Coordinate site access, inductions, travel and mobilisation requirements.
• Attend client shutdown and planning meetings.
• Support Supervisors and crews during shutdown execution.
• Maintain regular communication with clients during shutdowns.
• Monitor safety, productivity and workforce performance.
