Job summary

Hi Tech Diesel has an opening for a Service Advisor to act as the central point of communication between customers, technicians, parts suppliers and the management team. You will oversee the movement of jobs through the workshop, coordinate estimates and repairs, manage customer expectations and ensure work is completed efficiently and profitably.

You will become a key member of our management team responsible for keeping work flowing through the business and maintaining exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Automotive/diesel/heavy vehicle industry experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Pump Room workflow.
• Coordinate workshop overflow jobs.
• Prepare quotations and repair estimates.
• Create and manage repair orders.
• Schedule work for technicians and specialists.
• Liaise with customers regarding repairs and progress.
• Follow up outstanding quotes and approvals.
• Coordinate parts sourcing and supplier communication.
• Assist with warranty and service administration.
• Monitor job profitability and labour efficiency.
• Ensure deadlines and promised completion dates are achieved.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards.
• Support workshop planning and productivity.
