SMAART Recruitment is partnering with an established Melbourne-based data and technology business to recruit a Senior Sales Executive. The role focuses on opening new doors and moving large deals from first conversation through to contract.

Based in Melbourne with optional Australia-wide remote work or hybrid office-based arrangement, you will own ownership of new business across Australia and contribute to international growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in winning new B2B business and managing deals through to contract.
• Confident building relationships with senior decision makers.
• Comfortable selling SaaS, API or data products and explaining how they solve client problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across Australia through your network and proactive outreach.
• Understand client needs and position the right identity, compliance or data solutions.
• Manage the full sales process, including discovery, proposals, negotiations and close.
• Build relationships with multiple stakeholders and navigate longer enterprise sales cycles.
• Work with product and technical colleagues on complex client requirements.
• Share market feedback and support less experienced sales colleagues.
