Job summary

The Belmont Hotel, part of the Don Hodge Group family, is seeking a senior hospitality leader to oversee operations at a busy venue in the Lake Macquarie area. You will manage the day-to-day across bar, bistro, gaming and bottleshop, mentoring managers and driving performance while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as a 2IC/Assistant Manager or senior Duty Manager in a pub or large hospitality venue.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Understanding of financial performance and compliance requirements.
• People-first attitude – lead from the front and support your team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day venue operations across bar, bistro, gaming and bottleshop
• Manage and mentor a team of department managers and supervisors
• Drive sales performance, profitability and compliance
• Champion great service and a positive workplace culture
• Oversee rostering, training, and venue presentation
• Work closely with head office on marketing, events and community partnerships
