Job summary

Prospect Hotel Motel in Western Sydney is seeking an Assistant Manager to join Redcape Hospitality. This hands-on leadership role covers bar, dining, gaming and accommodation, working alongside the Venue Manager to keep the venue running smoothly.

You’ll coach a team, manage shifts and uphold service, safety and presentation standards on busy rosters. Join a Western Sydney institution with onboarding, training and pathways across 50+ venues.

Qualifications

• Experience leading shifts in a hospitality venue such as pub, hotel, club or similar.
• Ability to coach and develop team members for friendly, efficient service.
• Confidence with cash handling, reporting and venue administration.
• Willingness to work across bar, dining and gaming operations and rosters.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the venue and support the team on busy periods.
• Coach and develop staff to deliver high-quality service.
• Maintain standards of service, cleanliness and presentation.
• Support cash management, admin tasks and reporting.
• Contribute to venue promotions and community engagement.
• Ensure responsible service, gaming compliance and safety.
