ALAND is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a $100M mixed-use residential development in Merrylands, Sydney. You will oversee design, delivery and handover while coordinating with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure project outcomes align with ALAND’s commitment to quality.

The role demands a proactive construction professional with strong leadership, HSEQ knowledge, and advanced skills in MS Project and Excel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mixed-use / residential development
• Experience managing $50M–$150M projects
• Degree in construction management, engineering or architecture desirable
• Strong knowledge of HSEQ compliance
• Advanced MS Project and Excel skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables with stakeholders
• Supervise stakeholders to meet statutory standards and quality targets
• Maintain project management plans and documentation
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate with Construction team to align consultants, suppliers and contractors with program targets
• Lead site safety planning and WHS implementation

ALAND is currently seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing the successful delivery of a $100M mixed‑use residential development in Merrylands.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive construction professional who enjoys working across multiple stages of the project lifecycle (design, delivery, handover) managing complex projects and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to influence project outcomes and help deliver developments that reflect ALAND’s commitment to quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project purpose, scope, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and deliverables
• Supervise, support and manage all stakeholders to ensure statutory standards and are met
• Supervise, support and manage all stakeholders to ensure Aland manual and standard details are upkept
• Supervise, support and manage management spreadsheets, management matrix and management tools to ensure they are being used correctly
• Supervise, support and manage the construction management plans per project
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Work closely with the Construction team to drive consultants, suppliers, and contractors in meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual program and quality targets
• Participate in project progress meetings, provide support to the Construction team and internal and external teams in project monitoring and reporting.
• Supervise, support, direct, manage, implement, and manage construction methodologies.
• Supervise, support and manage the upkeep of the documents register
• Supervise, support and manage the construction management plans per project
• Supervise, support and manage the implementation, culture and ongoing management of the WHS plan
• Review the site safety statistics on a monthly basis against the initial targets.
• Monitor compliance on site with company safety procedures.
• Facilitate site inspections in conjunction with site safety representatives to ensure that site safety plan is adhered to.
• Action incident reports, safety alerts and all other notifications relating to injury and incident reporting on site.

About You

• Minimum 7 years qualified experience in mixed‑use / residential developments.
• Proven experience in a construction and project management environment, managing projects ranging from $50M-$150M.
• Tertiary qualifications in either construction management, engineering or architecture would be desirable.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of HSEQ Compliance.
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Project, Excel and Budgeting Softwares.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
