ALAND is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join the team and play a key role in creating functional and innovative interior spaces that align with the organisation's brand. Working collaboratively with internal teams, consultants and contractors, the role develops and delivers design solutions from concept through to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, commercial viability and successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative interior design concepts that align with project objectives, brand standards and target market.
• Prepare concept boards, mood boards, material palettes and design presentations.
• Produce space planning, layouts and furniture plans that maximise functionality and aesthetics.
• Research design trends, materials, finishes and products to inform design solutions.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation, specifications and schedules.
• Develop detailed joinery, fixture, fitting and finishes documentation.
• Coordinate drawings and documentation with architects, consultants and project teams.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, accessibility requirements and Australian Standards.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs and specifications.
• Review installed finishes and workmanship, identifying and resolving design-related issues.
