Job summary

Landmark Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale residential and Class 2 projects in Sydney. You will manage programmes, budgets, and teams, coordinating subcontractors and design teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in construction, a degree in Construction Management or related field, and proven leadership in complex projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience, including high-rise projects.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering large-scale residential/class 2 projects.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, programming, procurement and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large-scale residential and Class 2 projects, ensuring programme, budget, quality, safety and commercial objectives.
• Develop, manage and monitor construction programmes, budgets, cost projections and milestones.
• Lead and coordinate project and site teams, consultants, subcontractors and internal resources.
• Manage subcontractor packages, procurement, variations, claims and contractual matters.
• Collaborate with Design and Development to resolve design and buildability issues.
• Monitor project costs and manage variations, extensions of time and payment schedules.
• Maintain standards across quality, WHS, compliance and documentation.
• Lead project meetings, manage risks and resolve contractual issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Provide regular reporting to senior management on programme, cost, risk and delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the overall delivery of large-scale residential and Class 2 projects, ensuring programme, budget, quality, safety and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Develop, manage and monitor construction programmes, project budgets, cost projections, procurement schedules and key project milestones.
• Lead and coordinate Project and Site teams, consultants, subcontractors and internal resources throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

• 8+ years’ construction experience, including significant experience managing high-rise residential projects.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering large-scale residential or Class 2 projects.
• Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, programming, procurement, contracts and project delivery.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, costs, variations, subcontractor packages and commercial outcomes.
• Strong understanding of design coordination, construction documentation, buildability and project risk.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and project stakeholders.
• Strong WHS, quality assurance and compliance knowledge with a proactive approach to risk management.
• Excellent communication, commercial and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex project issues.
• Highly organised, proactive and collaborative, with experience working within an integrated developer-builder environment.
